About the role

The Principal Quantum Physicist is a founding-level technical leadership role and LFI's chief scientific authority. You will serve as the bridge between deep quantum physics research and high-value client-facing advisory, translating cutting-edge quantum theory into practical, business-relevant solutions across cryptography, optimization, sensing, and security.

This role begins on a flexible consulting basis (structure negotiable: part-time fractional or full-time contract) and is expected to transition into a permanent full-time position as the business scales. You will be the first of up to 4 Principal Quantum Physicists as LFI grows through its 5-year plan.
