About the role
QuantumGate develops and commercializes post-quantum cryptographic solutions that protect the digital environments of government agencies and enterprises against the threats of the quantum era.
Our flagship product, CryptoDT, discovers and inventories cryptographic assets across networks, hosts, applications and cloud environments. It gives organizations the visibility they need to plan and execute their migration to post-quantum cryptography. Our portfolio also includes a quantum-resistant VPN, a secure VMI platform and an advanced authentication, identity, and access management for corporate
As a Delivery Engineer, you will take our products from proof of concept to production at customer sites. You will work alongside our presales team on technical discovery and POCs, and design deployments that fit each customer's network and security constraints. You will install and operate our solutions in on-premises, air-gapped and cloud environments, and you will be the customer's technical voice towards our product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support presales activities: technical discovery workshops, answers to technical questions in RFIs and RFPs, and product demonstrations.
- Plan and run proofs of concept end to end: agree success criteria with the customer, deploy, collect results and present the findings.
- Design customer deployments, including sensor placement and traffic acquisition (SPAN/TAP, cloud traffic mirroring, host-based agents), sizing, and network and firewall requirements.
- Install, configure and upgrade our products on Linux and Kubernetes, including disconnected (air-gapped) environments.
- Integrate our solutions with customer systems: cloud accounts, vulnerability scanners, PKI, identity providers and SIEM.
- Deploy and support other products.
- Troubleshoot issues across network, operating system, container and application layers. Escalate to engineering with clear, reproducible reports, and channel customer feedback into the product roadmap.
- Build labs and automation (Terraform, Ansible, scripting) to reproduce customer environments and speed up deployments.
- Write deployment guides, runbooks, hardening guides and customer-facing reports.
- Support customers' security assessments of our deployments, including hardening and remediation of findings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as delivery, solutions, professional services, or systems, network or security engineering.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VLANs and overlay networks, and packet capture and analysis (tcpdump, Wireshark).
- Hands-on experience operating Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud), including its networking, IAM and compute services.
- Scripting skills in Python and Bash. Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to explain technical topics to engineers, security managers and auditors alike.
- Willingness to work at customer sites and to travel within the UAE and the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of applied cryptography: TLS, SSH, IPsec/VPN, X.509 and PKI, symmetric and asymmetric algorithms, and key management.
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography (ML-KEM, ML-DSA, NIST FIPS 203/204/205), crypto-agility and cryptographic bills of materials (CBOM).
- Experience with government or financial-sector customers, regulated environments, or local frameworks (e.g. UAE IA Regulation, Central Bank requirements).
- Experience with network visibility tools (Zeek, Suricata, NDR platforms, packet brokers) or virtualized network environments (VMware NSX).
- Experience with identity and access solutions (SSO, MFA, PAM) and virtualization or VDI platforms.
- Experience with vulnerability management platforms (Qualys, Tenable).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA, CISSP, OSCP, or AWS, Azure or GCP certifications.
What We Offer:
- Opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity in a high-impact venture.
- Collaborative, mission-driven culture with deep technical talent.
- Competitive compensation, benefits and relocation assistance (if applicable)
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and strategic partnerships.
