About the role
We are looking for an Engineer with expertise in Laser Physics and Optoelectronics, with experience in frequency stabilization, linewidth control, and integrated photonics as a plus. The candidate will contribute to precision laser systems for quantum sensing, photonic signal processing, and RF applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize laser sources with precise frequency stabilization. Implement linewidth control techniques for high-coherence lasers. Work on integrated photonics, optical waveguides, and quantum photonics platforms. Design and test laser modulation and phase-locking techniques. Develop electro-optic and acousto-optic modulation systems. Integrate lasers with atomic sensors, interferometers, and quantum systems.
Qualifications & Skills
Master’s/PhD in Laser Physics, Optoelectronics, or Photonics.
Experience in laser frequency locking (Pound-Drever-Hall, optical cavities, etc.).
Hands-on expertise with linewidth reduction, ultra-stable laser sources.
Knowledge of integrated photonics (SiPh, WSe₂, GaAs, etc.) is a plus.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, and optical simulation tools.
